Hello Parents,
This past week in Youth Group we discussed the issue of equality & favoritism. Working out of James 2 we laid the foundation that is we truly understand what Jesus has done for us, the it would be impossible for us to show favoritism to, or look down on anyone.
This idea seemed to really connect with kids. A good amount of response during the main talk and then as we broke up into D Groups, the conversations continued.
Just a few quick notes for you parents out there:
- We will be having a D Group "hang out" night, where kids will be doing seperate activities with their D groups in 2 weeks (October 26th) - stay tuned to specific details on what your kids will be doing.
- The Brett Ullman event will be here in a little over a week, so please consider attending and also be willing to enter into some serious conversations if your child attends.
- Continue to encourage your teen(s) to grab a devotional and dig into God's Word between Wednesdays.
